After a long journey across Melbourne, Jodhpur and Mumbai, Forty Red Bangles has landed on the shores of Singapore. This much anticipated expansion will see a whole new side to the brand you’ve all come to know and love. To announce our presence in Singapore we hosted an intimate launch and preview sale. We invite a handful of friends and colleagues to sample the new FRB.

Amidst snacks and conversations, we presented the newest clothing collections and unveiled our candles, which were on sale for the very first time. Also a first was the showcase of “FRB Boutique”- a curated collection of brands from India that we can’t get enough of. There was elegant stationery from 61c, sparkling jewels from Riddhika Jesrani and luxurious shawls and stoles form Moksha and the House Of Wandering Silk.

There is plenty more to come and FRB Singapore will be a stepping stone to bigger and better things! Here’s your inside look at the launch preview…

Yes, you heard us correctly. For us at Forty Red Bangles, Christmas does come twice a year- once in the form of the AWC Holiday Mela and once on the 25th of December.

The AWC Holiday Mela (although in November!) ushers in the spirit of Christmas with full pomp and splendor. Not only is the atmosphere decidedly festive, but it is the warmth exuded by the members and volunteers that really gets us cheery. The ballroom at the Trident Hotel is decked out with tinsel and baubles, holiday music is piped throughout the day and even Santa and Mrs. Claus make an appearance! It’s hard not to get all cozy and smiley with a sugar cookie in one hand and a hot cocoa in the other.

On display were gifts for everyone imaginable, with toys, clothes, jewelry and cards on display. A few of our festive favorites were ayurvedic bath products and bags handcrafted NGOs. From our very own haul, we are thrilled to report that people immediately took to our brand new products like the shaadi horse and kiddy aprons. You all also waxed eloquent about the beauty of our cards and gift tags and some of you even picked up our super soft malai-cotton tops for your winter beach vacations!

To everyone who stopped by, it was a real pleasure meeting you! And to those who missed it, well there’s always next year- but till then enjoy our little snapshots of the event!
